Kerry Washington is completely, utterly gorgeous in Oscar de la Renta (even if it is a little too long)

Confession:  I am one of those people that like to watch Scandal, not just for the hectic storyline, but also to gush over Olivia's wardrobe.  So I'm not too surprised that I'm (almost) completely and totally in love with her Oscar de la Renta frock.

The side profile (above) is gorgeous - I love the way it mixes between highlighting and hiding her bump.  The only change that I would make is possibly the length.  On the side profile, it looks fine.  But in some of the full length profile pics, it looks a little long and and ballgown-y.

Having said all of that, it is still a winner.  Kerry has kept her makeup simple and her hair looks smooth and healthy.

Australian model Megan Gale...another model pregnancy

I've blogged about many pregnant models before - they usually all have skinny pregnancies (due to genes or workouts and diets, I'm not sure) and generally look amazing throughout their entire pregnancy.

It looks like Aussie model, Megan Gale, is following the same formula for her pregnancy.  Here she is photographed attending the Australian Open tennis with her partner, AFL football player Shaun Hamspon.  He's 25, she is 38.  Go Megan!  In a recent interview, Megan said that she knew early on that Shaun would be the father of her children and that while most men Shaun's age aren't ready to take on fatherhood, he was different.

Teresa Palmer lets it all hang out!

Just yesterday I commented that Teresa Palmer's tshirt was a little too short for my liking - almost displaying her large bump.  In these photographs, you can see what I was afraid of!  Dressed very casually, Teresa's shirt does not have enough length to cover her almost-ready-to-pop baby belly.

I get that Teresa is in the very last stages of her pregnancy and she would be wanting to wear the most comfortable clothing.....but this was not her best look.

The shirt, obviously, does not have enough length and her slip ons look really old and dirty.  This outfit could have been improved by swapping the shirt for a white singlet or tank top and swapping the slip ons for a pair of comfy thongs (flip flops).

Teresa Palmer, dresses casually in LA

Australian Teresa Palmer, who is almost due to give birth, was photographed in LA dressed in grey skinny jeans, a striped top and black high top sneakers.  She added a much needed splash of colour with her bright orange handbag.

It doesn't look like Teresa's shirt is a maternity shirt - her big bump is almost popping out - okay if you don't mind people peeking at your belly but for me, I would prefer something with more length.

Owen Wilson's Baby Mama, Caroline Lindqvist, is a Swedish Personal Trainer (it shows!)

Here are some photographs of Caroline Lindqvist, a Swedish personal trainer that is pregnant with Owen Wilson's baby.  She is aged 41 and has a child from a former relationship.  


Caroline, age 41, told a Swedish newspaper in October 2013:

'Owen and I decided to have a child even though we're not in a relationship.
 'And we're not planning on starting a relationship, either.
'Owen and I are two close friends having a baby together. We are really looking forward to it and can't wait to welcome our child at the end of January.'

These photographs were taken in late January, so we should be expecting to hear the baby news anytime soon.

For late pregnancy, this is a great choice of outfit - skinny jeans with a pink long-sleeved top.  My guess is that she is still wearing her non-maternity jeans and has just left them unbuttoned and added a belly-band.

Elsa Pataky = maternity style

Chris Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, was photographed in Santa Monica this week with Chris, their daughter (India Rose) and Chris' mother.  Elsa's styling is completely opposite to the boho chic look she wore earlier this week.

There are so many things that I love about this look.  The loose-fitting cream top and matching wrap highlights her bump and her on-trend leggings and Isabel Marant sneakers complete the look.

Emily Blunt wears Dior

Emily was photographed recently at a Dior event wearing, you guessed it, Dior.

Emily Blunt was photographed in LA recently - her gorgeous bump dressed quite casually.  Emily stayed with a classic look of jeans and a white shirt, adding some colour with an Emma Moss red and navy contrast cardigan (which you can purchase from Amazon below).

Emily finished off her look with a pair of embroidered flat shoes and sunglasses.

Chris Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky: Boho chic icon

Chris Hemsworth's wife, Elsa Pataky, is rivalling Nicole Richie in the style of boho chic.  She has absolutely nailed this look.

The dress that Elsa is wearing is a non-maternity dress by Free People.  It's oversized shape fits perfectly over her bump.  It comes in a range of colours also worn by Britney Spears and Ashley Tisdale.  It's perfect for over a bikini on the beach, a festival with biker boots or warmed up for winter with tights or leggings underneath.

Gwen Stefani = Smoking Hot

I think that Gwen Stefani pregnancy style is probably like what Kim Kardashian (ahem Kanye West) wanted to emulate but didn't pull off so well.  I've said before that Gwen Stefani's style isn't right up my alley, but in these photographs she really looks amazing.

I'm not sure how she is able to walk in those heels though!  The whole outfit is really well put together. A pair of skinny black jeans, a long black tunic or top and a black blazer.  The length of the blazer is really important when dressing your pregnant body.  If you are buying a jacket, make sure that the jacket does not end at the widest part of your hips as you will be just drawing attention to that area.

A maternity blazer is not necessarily essential - depending on the size of your bump and how far along in your pregnancy you are, you may be able to wear a non-maternity blazer throughout your pregnancy.  Peaches Geldof was the master of this (although she did have a skinny pregnancy, so it easily worked for her) by leaving the buttons undone on her non-maternity coats and blazers.

Another day, another hike for Emily Blunt

Just a few days ago, I posted some photographs of Emily Blunt hiking in LA's Runyon cannon and here she is doing it again.  Emily, along with countless other celebrities, exercise regularly throughout their pregnancy and the benefits of this shine through.

Emily looks so fit and healthy in these photographs wearing a long-sleeved white shirt with heart detail, black leggings, turquoise sports bra, grey singlet, sunglasses and a pair of black and pink runners.  Her no fuss look continued with her short blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail .
