So Kim Kardashian is pregnant! Get ready for the over-sharing, for sure. Over-exposure as well. Good fashion? Hmmm, well that is a wait-and-see...

I can't help myself.  I just read the news 5 minutes ago that KK is pregnant.  Looks like I'm going to have to learn how to spell her name.  I'm not sure that the media is going to able to handle the two major bump watches taking place - Kim and Kate.  Kate and Kim.  Looks like they will both be due around about the same time.  The difference in fashion is going to be epic!

Kate will likely continue with her conservative style, while Kim....well I think that she will continue to get it wrong, most of the time.  I love that she is not afraid to show off her curves - I honestly think that she looks amazing in a bikini - much better than the skinny, bony, muscular figure that most celebrities put out there.  She also has an exquisite face - except in these photos.  The makeup is way too orange and she looks more severe and older than she normally does.

As for what she is wearing tonight:

- leather pants - tick - on trend
- black ankle booties - tick - on trend
- some fugly fur (faux or real?) coat - I freaking hate it.  It looks so 'old'.  Like she is some Russian mobster's girlfriend.

I just worked out what it is about her makeup that I don't like (aside from the orange)...it's the lips.  They need some colour.  They are blending into her face.  Normally her makeup is really cute too.

Anyway, looks like bump watch has just become (more) interesting.

Shop This Look: Jenna Dewan-Tatum in maternity trending stripes

Go here to read the related blog post (with more photographs)

Jenna Dewan-Tatum has established herself at the head of the celebrity maternity pack.  She is on trend with her use of leather - jackets and boots and oversized cardigans.  Plus she is married to Channing Tatum and having his babies, so girl is already a trend setter.

Here she is photographed recently in a very chic oversized cardigan.  I absolutely love this!  It's a shame that we are in the middle of a freaking hot, humid summer down under because this is a look that I would like for myself.

To recreate this look, I started with a gorgeous open striped cardigan, teamed with a pair of black leggings.

A pair of brown suede boots by Dolce and a Stella McCartney bag finish this look.

And as for a big freaking engagement ring and matching wedding ring from Channing Tatum, well I can't work miracles!

Malin Akerman shopping with mum

Okay, so I'm really starting to warm towards Malin's pregnancy style.  Complete backflip, I know.  Just a few weeks ago I was constantly bitching about how horrid and bikerish she looked.  I still think that she is crazy different from the style I usually like (think Jessica Alba) but, what can I say, girl is consistent.

I'm loving the black cropped leather jacket and scarf.  I also really liked her look the last time she wore these boots.  The button down shirt makes the whole outfit look more feminine which is probably the whole reason why she looks more 'wholesome' compared to her usual style.  A large black bag and dark sunglasses complete the look.

Shop This Look: Jenna Dewan-Tatum - Mrs Channing Tatum or Rachel Bilson?

Go here to read the related blog post (with more photographs)

Wife of and soon to be mother to Channing Tatum's baby, Jenna Dewan-Tatum is having a stylish, chic pregnancy.

To recreate this look I started with the black and white heart print dress which will accommodate an expanding bump well into your pregnancy.  I added a black leather drape jacket from Muubaa and thigh high black boots.

Sunglasses from Chloe and the Stella McCartney Hobo bag complete the very, very, chic look.

Lara Stone, leather and fur

A couple of pre-Christmas photographs of supermodel Lara Stone and her husband out shopping on Bond Street, London.  I get she is a supermodel.  But this photo proves that leather pants don't always look great, even when you are a supermodel.  The leather pants should be more fitted at the calf to show off Lara's long, skinny legs. The way that they hang over her calf reminds me of sweatpants.  No, I'm not joking.  It doesn't help matters that she is wearing a pair of hightop sneakers.  I just don't get it.  If you want to be comfortable and you have a body like that - why wear a pair of bad fitting leather pants?  Wear some leggings and be done with it?  Is the weather too cold in London for leggings?  I wouldn't know as I'm in sub-tropical heat and humidity here.  The jacket is not great either - very boxy cut and again, no shape.  Hmm, I've blogged about Lara twice now and both times have been blech.

Jenna Dewan-Tatum in maternity trending stripes

Stripes are big, huge in celebrity maternity fashion.  Jessica Alba, Jennifer Garner, Gisele Bundchen, Kristen Cavallari, Abbey Crouch (in one of my most favourite maternity looks, the girl knows fashion) and Natalie Portman all looked great in stripes. So it comes as no surprise that one of the newest pregnant celebs, Jenna Dewan-Tatum, is totally wearing them in this very chic, very 'now', oversized cardigan.  Oversized cardigans and sweaters are so so so so hot (haha, bad joke, I know) right now.  Malin Akerman wore an oversized sweater with animal print leggings recently as well.

Jenna looks pretty good here.  The oversized cardigan works really well with black leggings and brown suede ankle boots.  She's just wearing a simple black top underneath and is carrying her Stella McCartney hobo bag as well.

It's going to be fun to watch Jenna's maternity style develop as her pregnancy progresses - I'm loving it already!

Jenna Dewan-Tatum: Mrs Channing Tatum or Rachel Bilson?

They say that everyone has a doppelgänger - a look-a-like.  As soon as I saw these photographs of Jenna Dewan-Tatum, well, I didn't think doppelgänger...instead I thought that I was looking at a very big breasted, slightly older looking, pregnant (!) Rachel Bilson, that sweet little Summer from OC.  Imagine if I had gone with a headline of:  Rachel Bilson: Pregnant or bolt-ons?  Luckily (for Rachel) I discovered that I was actually looking at a very lucky woman (apparently).  A woman who has made millions (?) around the world cry in their morning coffee when they wake up alone (or not).  Yes, Jenna is not only married to People Magazine's Sexiest Man Alive, Channing Tatum...but she's also having his baby.  Cue cry.

So there will probably be even more tears as we watch her pregnancy progress.  She is chic.  Effortlessly.  She's wearing the celebrity must have - a leather jacket.  Although I would have preferred a leather jacket that was more cropped and had tighter sleeves - this one is a little too corporate-jacket-in-leather looking to me.  Underneath she is wearing a patterned black and white dress (little love hearts - oh Channing! - I think).  That dress really shows off her charlies doesn't it?  Not in a bad, Jessica Simpson, my eyes are burning, way...Then she ups the ante with those boots - I want those boots!  Black, leather, above the knee with a wedge heel.  I love how to finishes the look with a really understated simple necklace, sunglasses and a huge, black chain bag.  Overall, a fashion win.

Shop This Look: Malin Akerman, animal print: Oh for a change!

Go here to read the related blog post with more photographs.

Malin Akerman was recently photographed (probably) doing her Christmas shopping - again, sticking to her usual look, animal print and all.

ps. I have created a more affordable version of this look at the end of this post.

Malin's whole look is focussed on her brown leather jacket.  I found a similarly weathered (distressed) brown leather jacket by un solo mondo.

Want more jacket options?

For the black maxi dress - I really like this Everly Grey black maxi as it has a flattering v-shaped neckline and sits nicely under the bust. Add Malin's usual suspect - an animal print scarf by Tolani and, if you like 'em, moto boots by Marc Jacobs.  Finally, finish with a classic black bag (also Marc Jacobs) to pull the whole look together.

Want a more affordable version?

You can still get Malin's look at a more affordable price.

Start with a faux leather moto jacket by Jou Jou and a Three Seasons Maternity maxi.

Accessorise with a Matt & Nat black bag, an animal print scarf by Mango and a pair of däv black boots.

Malin Akerman, animal print: Oh for a change!

The ever gorgeous Malin Akerman was photographed again in animal print.  Again.  Again.  Again.  Can't remember what she looked like in animal print?  Here she is looking pretty and youthful in animal print, here she is rocking animal print leggings and moto boots, and finally, here in cheetah boots.  So it probably shouldn't come as a surprise to see her wearing her animal print scarf and moto boots again.

This is another outfit that fits her, what I'm calling, 'grungy, not-girly' look.  The leather jacket is freaking awesome - I love the way it looks weathered, like it is an old faithful that she bought when she was just Malin Akerman, hot, swedish girl with gorgeous hair and slammin' body.  Now she is just Malin Akerman, hot, swedish girl with gorgeous hair and slammin' pregnant body.  Oh and hollywood movie star.

The boots I could do without.  This isn't the first time I've said this and it won't be the last.  The boots have to go.  They are too manly, too biker looking.  They hurt my eyes.  Maybe she bought a pair of simple black ballet flats or elegant heels in that huge Kitson bag she's carrying?  Probably not, I just looked at their website and $1200 pair of Converse sneakers (you read right) or $48 thongs aside, they have something right up her alley....a pair of leopard shoes.

Like this look?  See my Shop This Look post to see how to get it for yourself - with an affordable options as well.

Malin Akerman in animal print, again

Okay, so I'm the first to admit that I have not been a fan of Malin's pregnancy style and her penchant for all things animal printAnd those motorcycle boots.  But today, I've turned a corner.  Yes, Malin is still rocking the animal print.  But somehow she looks fresher and less grungy.  And young.  Oh so young.  And slim, did I mention slim?

Today's style still plays to a more 'grungier' look than the usual hollywood starlet style.  The black leather jacket and the brown boots are still 'edgier' but are softened by the femininity of the animal print scarf.  She's also softened the look with the black jersey dress, teamed with black leggings.

Like this look?  Want to make it your own?  I've put together two spreads on this look - one for less than $200 (boots, jacket, sunglasses and all!).

To echo this look, I started with a black ruched tank maternity dress from Isabella Oliver, paired with American Apparel leggings.

Slip on a cute black jacket from Free PeopleRay Ban aviator sunglasses and a pair of Burberry leather knee-high boots.  They are shoe heaven.  Finally add the celebrity favourite Tolani scarf.
